After 15 months of pandemic, of social distancing, latent fear and hindered imagination, we have never needed so much to re-open our hearts and the field of possibilities.

BIGGER THAN US is a feature-length documentary film shot in the four corners of the world about a wonderful young generation fighting for human rights, climate, freedom of expression, social justice, access to education or food. Dignity. From Rio to Jakarta, these young people rise up and carry a magnificent humanity, of courage and joy, of deep connection to something greater than oneself. They tell us how to strive. And what it means to be alive in this world of confusion.

Because we need big screens more than ever to open up and think big again, BIGGER THAN US is a truly cinematographic film, a cinema that we love and because it makes us strong. A cinema that exposes lies and truths, beauty and emotion, harsh realities and hope. Humanity at its best.

Produced by Marion Cotillard, BIGGER THAN US will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on the 10th of July 2021. It will be released in cinemas in France from 22 September, then in the rest of the world.
